The European leader in convenience self-serve solutions is currently looking to recruit a confident and driven Regional Account Manager. The company have recently won a bid to work with Coca-Cola European Partnerships, the vending arm of the business. You would be tasked with developing relationships with existing Coca Cola accounts across London and the South East.The Role
This is a unique opportunity to develop, grow and excel in a new standalone vertical, and represents a great chance to impress as part of an exciting new venture. You would evaluate an existing client base, understanding current contractual obligations before developing relationships, working to retain customers on medium to long-term contracts as well as upselling and maximising revenue potential wherever possible. You would be expected to establish a clear strategy for building and converting your customer pipeline in a profitable and sustainable way.
The role involves extensive travel throughout your territory, coupled with a tremendous amount of autonomy in terms of booking and attending meetings, managing your pipeline and preparing quotes and tenders. You would also be expected to coordinate with departments across the business, in particular Operations throughout the depot network within your region to improve customer performance and further enhance satisfaction and revenue generation.The Candidate
o Proven experience in an account management role within the FMCG (or similar) industry
o A proven track record of improving sales and profitability, able to demonstrate achievements against targets
o Knowledge of the vending industry and / or hot drinks market ideal however not essential
o Excellent commercial acumen, understanding of P&L, capable of taking a strategic overview
o Strong negotiation and influencing skills, able to build highly effective internal and external relationships
o Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to rapidly changing situations
o Excellent communicator, oral and written, with strong presentation skillsThe Company
