Are you passionate about Acute and Critical Care? Through innovation and joint working we have created a new Respiratory Physiotherapy Consultant post in Acute and Critical Care. This post will work across the organisation bringing together two acute hospital sites, creating a vision of patient centred care for those patients in the acute wards and Critical Care Units. They will work in ITU and beyond, be an expert in weaning and rehabilitation as well as all forms of respiratory failure and tracheostomy management. They will embrace extended skills, lead by example, formulate research opportunities within their clinical field and work together with senior medical, nursing and therapy leaders to ensure the highest quality of care across our organisation, with a focus on Critical Care priorities. They will work across professions, being seen as a resource for all. They will lead a team of respiratory physiotherapists across Northwick Park and Ealing Hospitals, supported by a senior experienced team, providing 7/7 working including out of hours. Core skills of clinical expertise, research/audit, and leadership will be further developed and you will be encouraged to achieve a high profile within the organisation and nationally.
