We are now recruiting for a Retail & Events Marketing Manager, based at our offices in London (Shaftesbury Avenue).
Working closely with shop managers and the wider sales team to plan marketing activity effectively according to the retail and events marketing strategy and ad-hoc sales needs In conjunction with the Head of Marketing plan an annual event calendar Devise new, thoughtful and inspirational events Oversee all local marketing campaigns and events on time and in budget Oversee all associated event staffing, be it temp or in house Execution of local and regional marketing campaigns and activity across offline and digital channels, which drives demand to Travelbag retail shops Report success of local / regional marketing activities and make recommendations based on conclusions Building strong working relationships with the regional sales manager and shop managers and meeting on a regular basis to review shop marketing plans and discuss requirements Exploring new opportunities to market the Travelbag retail shops locally and evaluating the commercial value of potential marketing activity
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
3 years experience B2C marketing across online and offline channels in a retail business Experience in executing and reporting on cross-channel marketing campaigns with a clear view on KPIs and what success looks like Experience in organising and managing events or experiential activity Confident briefing artwork to graphic designers, with a good eye for design Comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels across the business Performance focused with excellent analytical skills and comfortable with working in a data-driven environment
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across functions within and beyond marketing Excellent attention to detail and superb organisational skills Comfortable working on multiple projects at once and able to prioritise workload Able to deliver in a fast paced environment Team player who can see how retail marketing operates within a broader marketing strategy
Experience with any mainstream Email Service Provider software E.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud - ExactTarget, IBM – Silverpop, Oracle Resonsys Able to grasp new technical concepts Familiar with HTML, Illustrator, Photoshop Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
