We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Schedule Analyst to join the well-established Scheduling team. This role will be pivotal in the continued success of Vitality business and as such, requires an analytical individual who optimises resources and takes actions to resolve or reduce the impact on service levels. You will be required to advise Operations Managers and Heads of within the business and provide recommendations on flexible working, shift reviews and manage holiday utilisation.

Responsibilities of our Schedule Analyst include:

- Developing schedules that effectively deliver staffing levels that consistently achieve service level commitments and optimise wastage/Influx

- Liaising with the Forecast Analyst to ensure that all forecasted factors have been considered before the creation/optimisation of staffing schedules

- Creating long- and medium-term staffing schedules that are compliant as per working time directives and match forecasted factors

- Producing and analysing the variances between the forecasted demand and resource availability

- Managing and processing holiday requests in a fair and reasonable manner on behalf of staff, and maintaining all records of holiday allowances

- Scheduling appropriate items such as meetings, training, 1-2-1 and other development time

- Reporting employee metrics (overtime, offline, absence etc) to Scheduling Planning Manager, Planning partners & Real-Time Planning Manager

- Onboarding new recruits into the scheduling system

- Configuring and maintaining WFM tool data like hierarchy, shift patterns, schedule codes, manage access, etc

- Scheduling regular and recurring off phone activity to maintain service levels, making alternate recommendations

- Working closely with the Operational Management team to help provide solutions

- Acting as a subject matter expert and liaising with outsource partner to maximise our ROI with outsource vendors

Skills and experience of our ideal Schedule Analyst:

- Previous experience in Scheduling/WFM or Resource Planning within a contact centre environment

- Demonstrable high degree of ability to analyse data, using the data to drive decision making and implement effective solutions

- Knowledge of complexity of scheduling and intraday management in a multi-skill, multi-channel environment

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Excellent MS Office application knowledge including Excel and Access

- A team player who is also able to work well independently

- Good relationship skills to collaborate with key operational stakeholders
