Senior Care Assitant (Nights) – Bognor Regis – £10.05ph
Full Time – 38.5 hours per week (Nights)
The ability to form positive relationships with residents, their families and professional colleagues is vital.
You will play an essential role in leading care and ancillary staff members in all aspects of our service to residents, including deputising for senior managers at times.
You will need to demonstrate your commitment to good care practise through a QCF or equivalent Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, and practical experience of caring for older people, as well as the willingness to train to develop further.
As Senior Care Assistant, you will be in charge of the day-to-day supervision of residents and staff in the home manager and the deputy's absence. Your duties will centre on providing the highest standards of care to the home's residents as well as ensuring that their physical, social and emotional needs are met.
Role requirements for the Senior Care Assistant:
Supporting and supervising the team
Training and development
Developing therapeutic or beneficial relationships with residents/colleagues
Delivering high standards of person-centred care
Attend regular meetings
Help maintain cleanliness and tidiness of home
Support the Home Manager in implementing personalised care plans, and reviewing and monitoring these on a regular basis
Skills/Qualifications for the Senior Care Assistant:
QCF or equivalent Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Experience working in residential elderly/dementia care
Excellent communication & organisational skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
