The Senior Delivery Manager is accountable for the management of the delivery of all IT activities from internal and external delivery teams in accordance with project plans and budgets.

What you’ll be doing

Obtain, review and sign off estimates to support planning activity
Work with all IT functional teams to ensure activities are aligned to the project plans
Drive and agree delivery schedules with internal and external delivery teams
Responsible for ensuring deliveries are in line with agreed designs and completed to quality standards and budget
Facilitate plan review sessions and track progress
Support deployments and acceptance in service as required
Ensure plans and solutions are formally signed off by stakeholders
Facilitate post deployment review sessions feeding lessons learned into the approach to future projects
Task management of resources assigned to projects


Work across the organisation to create a delivery plan
Manage technical conversations and planning activities with internal teams and 3rd parties to ensure successful delivery
Communicate well to business stakeholders across the organisation
Manage complex deliverables to agreed designs, budgets and timescales.
Provide advice and guidance to the project team members and take responsibility for their effectiveness


Hold a degree from a technology discipline
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Extensive experience of the retail technical environment
Experience of managing developments into the production environment and managing 3rd parties and cross functional teams.
Exceptional detailed planning skills
Ideally experience working within Financial Services
