Role Summary

eClerx is seeking a skilled, team-oriented Asset Servicing, Senior Manager.   You will be responsible for supervising operations teams.  You will a ct as the Senior Leadership contact to respond to critical escalations from key counterparties Strong execution skills, detailed-oriented and flexibility are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise operations team (Claims Payables, Claims Receivables, Intercompany, Dividend and Coupon Reconciliations) in India on specific tasks such as, prioritizing aged claims
  • Be the primary contact at onshore locations for Asset Servicing Leads at client end (both NAM and EMEA regions)
  • Set up governance meetings with client stakeholders in Asset Servicing to address issues/challenges, prepare and share mitigation plans and provide progress update
  • Need to develop complete knowledge of key metrics in the function and the way they are tracked. Should be able to derive valuable insights from key metrics through trend analysis and come up with innovative solutions to arrest any noise
  • Work with client technology team providing feedback from operations team on enhancement of systems (Payment automations, linking of counterparty emails with outstanding claims master report, etc.)
  • Be the primary contact for Top 10/15 counterparties. Run governance meetings with such counterparties along with eClerx India operations team to reduce outstanding balances on both Payables and Receivables
  • Bridge the gap between eClerx India team and Client's internal teams where we have dependencies (Pre-recon team, Buffalo team, International Prime
  • Brokerage team, Corporate Action team etc.). Should work closely with eClerx India teams on specific outstanding population as per agreed prioritization.
  • Equally, work with client's internal teams to expedite responses and redefine process structure wherever necessary (For example, Redefining process structure to manage IPB payments to make it more efficient)
  • Regular monitoring of mailbox (QMA). Act as Senior Leadership contact to respond to critical escalations from key counterparties

Eligibility Requirements

  • Experience in Asset Servicing domain specifically in Income claims payables and receivables area. Prior experience in resolving disputed claims is a must
  • Strong business understanding of Asset Servicing function in an Investment Bank especially on claims management on the back of valid corporate actions
  • Excellent communication, mailbox/queue management and client handling skills
  • Time management and ability to resolve issues in an efficient manner
  • Flexible to work Hybrid Shifts - Extensive interaction with our teams in India required
  • Strong Execution skills, Organized, Detail oriented, flexible, self starter & highly motivated
  • Ability to work with teams across time-zones and cultures
  • Excellent data management and analytical skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and creative problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel
