Job Description

Big Bear Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, to join and be a part of a PICU Hospital in the Wimbledon and Putney areas.

The Hospital is split into three single sex Wards, treating patients from the ages of 18; two for women and one for men, as well as de-escalation seclusion Unit. Each Ward is led by their own Consultant Psychiatrist, taking on patients, either privately or as an NHS referral, suffering from drug addictions, severe depression and also helping individuals with personality disorders.

Ideally, you will have experience in the past working with patients posing a risk to themselves or to those around them, or working within a similarly challenging environment. More importantly, you will be willing to take on a challenge and take up responsibility to genuinely make a difference in someone’s life and their futures!

You would be a part of a Service that prides itself on making continuous progress and improvements, with a market renowned training and development programme and be a part of a team spanning over 20 Services around the UK.

As a Registered Nurse, you will need to have a current RMN/RNLD NMC registration, the most up to date clinical practices and experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
