It’s an exciting time to join us: KMPT has been rated Outstanding for Caring and Good overall in our most recent CQC inspection in January 2017!

As part of KMPT's attraction package, we currently offer a New Hire Bonus of up to £1200 for registered nursing staff joining in a band 5 or 6 Front Line nursing role with direct patient care.

A number of incredibly exciting opportunities have arisen within the Older Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient Ward in Medway.

The evolution of a therapeutic approach to staffing has led to a number of new positions and promotion opportunities which will enhance and shape care provision through a dynamic, effective and exciting multidisciplinary model.

Kent and Medway’s Older Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient Wards provide excellent environments for the delivery of numerous specialist assessments, treatments and interventions. The integration of psychological, occupational, nursing and medical staff working in tandem will also cultivate an atmosphere of learning for the whole team. Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust will actively complement your development through funding ongoing university studies as well as offering a range of internal courses and experiences across the county.

We are looking for Staff Nurses who care about making a difference to the lives of people in need. Candidates must be of the character to thrive in delivering an eclectic range of assessments, treatments and interventions whilst evaluating their efficacy and contributing towards the development of a vibrant and multifaceted service. You will be confident and dynamic in leading a multidisciplinary staff group during day to day shifts, focused and evidence-based in directing an excellent level of nursing care and responsible for ensuring a safe, therapeutic and efficacious environment to enhance treatment and wellbeing for all.

This post is subject to a six month probationary period for candidates external to the Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.

Employment in this post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.

IN CASES WHERE WE RECEIVE A HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS FOR A POST, IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO BRING THE CLOSING DATE FORWARD. YOU ARE ADVISED TO SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO RESPOND INDIVIDUALLY TO YOUR APPLICATION. SHOULD YOU NOT HEAR FROM US WITHIN SIX WEEKS OF THE VACANCY CLOSING, PLEASE ASSUME THAT YOUR APPLICATION HAS NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL.
