Staff Nurse - up to £12,000 bonuses Mental Health Dementia Hospital

Salary: Newly Qualified (Preceptorships available) starting salary £26,404 (£13.72 p/h) raising to £27,181 ( £13.93 p/h) after 6 months - Experienced band 5 nurses up to £34,173 p/a (£17.52 p/h) however this is negotiable depending on your experience
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)
Shifts: Options of Days only Apply Now >>(0700-1430 and 1300-2030) or Nights only (2000- 0730) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference
Accommodation: The Hospital offer accommodation for all nurses with various options to choose from or source your own accommodation and be eligible for the £5,000 relocation package
Bonuses: All nurses (including preceptors and newly qualified nurses ) are offered an additional £1,100 every February on top of your salary and any relocation package. In addition to this after 2 years at the hospital you will be given £3,000 and again after 4 years another £3,000 is available

Further Details : An exciting opportunity has arisen for Newly qualified or experienced RMN's, RNLD's or RGN's to work within an award winning Mental Health Hospital situated on the beautiful isle of Guernsey in St Helens. They currently have vacancies for RMN's, RNLD's and RGN's on their 3 specialist dementia wards
Ward 1 - 20 bed Unit for patients over 65 at the start of their dementia Journey with some challenging behaviours
Ward 2 - 15 bed unit for patients over 65 with advanced dementia and significant challenging behaviours
Ward 3 - 17 bed unit for people with significant physical needs and dementia, palliative care and end of life plans
Service Details: The Hospital has a great reputation and looks after all areas of mental health treatment, rehabilitation and recovery on the island. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with an innovative and forward thinking multi-disciplinary team. The have a very low staff turnover and staff morale is very high. They are very big on staff development and training. They have an extremely high staff to patient ratio
The service has an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. Staff morale is very high.
There are also plenty of opportunities to undertake additional training courses externally on top of the extensive in-house training.
Shifts : The Service can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they are happy to consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only. Their shift pattern is 0700-1430 and 1300-2030or Nights 2000- 0730, the option of working a long day shift is available too.
