Job Title: Support Worker
Salary: £9.00 to £9.50 ph
Hours: Various full or part time
Support workers - we need you.
We are looking for self- motivated, caring and compassionate individuals to support 4 male residents who have Autism and complex needs, helping them to adjust to everyday life.
This is no ordinary job. Here at Aspirations Care you will offer individual support and encouragement to help some amazing people to live a fulfilling and independent life.
No two days are the same but the role will involve; Helping with the challenges of everyday life such as; dressing, cooking and general household tasks Participate in hobbies, supporting with social engagements and enabling our people to live their best life Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met and to protect the adults rights to live safely and free from abuse or neglect
The ideal person; Previous experience of working in adult social care would be beneficial but not essential as full training is provided. Passionate about making a difference An interest or understanding of mental health issues would be beneficial Non judgemental Patient and understanding A good sense of humour during sometimes challenging situations
