The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teaching assistant to join one of the country’s
highest performing schools (in the top 1% nationally) and be part of England's biggest Multi
Academy Trust.

Glenmoor and Winton Academies are looking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated
individual to join our dedicated and effective team of teaching assistants.

The successful candidate must have a knowledge and understanding of:

Barriers to students’ learning
Supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including autism
How children learn and how to motivate them

The successful candidate must:

Be caring, patient and supportive with a positive attitude
Have excellent communication skills
Be able to motivate, inspire and encourage students
Be resilient, resourceful and have high expectations of students’ achievement and behaviour
Enjoy working as part of a hardworking team
Be willing to professionally develop via our in-house CPD offer; there may also be opportunities to develop in a specialism, for example, autism or dyslexia.
