Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, Sales Executive / Account Manager to join our Accountancy Software sales team in Manchester.

This role is important as you'll be working to develop and account manage established sales accounts, selling new products and generating additional sales revenue from customers through effective cross-selling and up-selling activity. You'll also support customer retention through excellent service and by resolving pre-renewal issues.

What will you be doing?

As an Telesales Executive in this team, your day-to-day tasks will typically involve the following:

Implementing agreed call campaigns to prospect and customer segments
Working proactively with our marketing team offering campaign ideas
Identifying new business opportunities
Handling all inbound sales calls from customers who wish to discuss our products
Meeting and exceeding sales billings targets
Creating new pipeline through telephone based activity
Achieving agreed KPI’s
Continually updating and cleansing the customer database with key marketing and competitor information
Driving attendance to customer events programme and providing pre- and post- event follow up support
Promoting the IRIS brand in a friendly, professional manner.

What skills and experience do you need to have?

It’s essential that the successful candidate has the following skills and experience:

Proven Telesales experience
Knowledge of accountancy profession and practice software products would be advantageous.
B2B sales experience
Sales orientated team player
Energy and enthusiasm
Excellent listener and communicator
Self-motivated and resilient
Good organisation and administration skills
