Exciting new opportunity to join the Disney Travel Company in three similar roles as Travel Industry Marketing Executives. The lengths of the fixed term contracts vary from 7 to 12 months.

The Travel Industry Marketing Executives will be responsible for contributing to the development of, and implementing, Travel Industry Marketing (TIM) campaign plans to achieve the attendance, room night and revenue goals for Walt Disney World (WDW), Disneyland® Paris (DLP) and Disney Cruise Line (DCL) sites.
The role focuses on external travel trade environments and partner marketing requirements. Responsible for coordinating and delivering flawless campaign execution to internal stakeholders and external partners, adopting a cohesive approach to promoting the brand portfolio and individual brand servicing focus.

Responsibilities :
  • Act as the initial point of Travel Industry Marketing contact for selected key partners, selling Disney Destinations International (DDI) brands
  • Act as support on annual marketing plans and implement activity ensuring optimal return against co-op (shared) budget and goals
  • Work with Account Managers to build and deliver partner marketing plans in integrated communication plan (ICP) or new initiatives meeting
  • Responsible for approving marketing collateral (funded and unfunded) in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring collateral aligns with Company branding and style guides. Strong understanding of all social media platforms essential
  • Working with third party creative agencies to design, create and operate trade campaigns, including advertising and competitions
  • Responsible for the sign-off and launch to travel trade of the brand brochures or brochure templates
  • Support trade training asset creation and sign-off including trade social assets
  • Responsible for activating trade media for key campaigns
  • Identify and maximize synergies with consumer marketing assets
  • Responsible for ensuring that all partners’ creative assets adhere to Disney brand guidelines
  • For partners selling multiple brands, ensure their plans are complementary to each brand and are in sync with key booking periods, with no brand conflicts
  • Ensure all trade initiatives consider EMEA synergies
  • In conjunction with Account Managers, responsible for developing web content to drive awareness and sales with key partners, and undertaking of regular website audits
  • Work collaboratively with brand managers for WDW, DLP and DCL and central teams to implement key call to actions, key messaging and customer insights into partner marketing
  • Responsible for recording in-market activity and associated results from previous partner activity, to provide both a historical account and tool to help formulate plans. At the beginning of each quarter, appraise the forthcoming quarter’s activity to ensure optimal coverage especially when transitioning between financial years to eliminate campaign gaps
  • Provide collateral for partner-specific events including: exhibitions; trade fairs; road shows; travel agent (TA) conferences; hospitality events; familiarisation (FAM) trips
  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking TIM budget spend in conjunction with Account Managers, reallocating funds as applicable and ensuring budget is spent as planned to ensure effective forecasting by the finance team
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating all content on asset library to ensure partners have latest assets to effectively market, and fulfilling requests for new users
  • Responsible for effective management of relationships with external suppliers and creative agencies


Basic Qualifications :
  • Experience of working in the travel sector, beneficial
  • Demonstrate tactical skills related to implementation of marketing plans and recommending resources necessary for success, for example; experience of designing, creating and operating trade campaigns
  • Exceptional organisational, project management and communication skills to balance trade marketing programs across three brands for optimal execution and success
  • Experience of working in a large, multi-national matrix organisation, beneficial
  • Marketing experience across EMEA region, beneficial
  • Proven experience of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve joint objectives
  • Experience of effectively monitoring and managing allocated budgets
  • A strong collaborator who is adept in building and maintaining relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Flexible approach with an ability to successfully manage priorities and deadlines during times of change
  • Creative and commercial approach
  • Ability to translate strategy into specific priorities, objectives and action plans
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Written and spoken English for business use, essential; professional proficiency in other European languages beneficial
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of local markets across EMEA
