Mantra Learning delivers practical training and apprenticeships to upskill and progress the careers of both new and existing employees. It equips people who are entering, re-entering or already working in the logistics sector with the competence and skills to become more proficient and productive in their jobs.
The role of tutor will require the right candidate to provide a curriculum and experience led learning experience through a focus on quality of education.
Delivers educational sessions virtually and face to face as needed from various locations in accordance with a prescribed delivery model and scheme of work.
Attends standardisation sessions
Ensures compliance with awarding body regulations
Delivers multiple courses across all of our programmes
Monitors learners for safeguarding and social concerns and uses the appropriate escalation route.
Adheres to all awarding body standards and other compliance as set out by ESFA and Ofsted
Provides learners with information advice and guidance regarding appropriateness of courses and establish records and learning goals suited to the learner’s needs
Inducts learners into the learning environment, courses and systems where appropriate.
Creates, sets and marks work-related tasks to help the learner progress through programme
Shares sector-specific experience and knowledge with learners
Works with the Programme Development team to develop employability programmes.
Positively embraces change and equally understand the challenges faced within the Further Education sector.
Monitors attendance and performance of the learners on an ongoing basis and effectively report to management
Effectively deals with learners requirements.
Undergoes personal development to maintain and develop skills relevant to the job role and as required by contracts for funded learning.
Assists with preparation of Reviews and accreditation visits
Flexibly supports the business with duties as required.
Education and Knowledge
ICT, English and Math’s qualifications all at L2 or above
Functional Skills Level 2 Minimum (Essential)
PTLLS / CTLLS (Essential)
L5 Teaching Qualification (Essential)
Advice and Guidance L3 or above (Desirable)
Safeguarding L2 (Desirable)

Previous Experience in a logistics sector – desirable
Previous experience teaching experience
Previous mentor and advisor experience
Previous virtual training experience.
Guiding learners through programmes of study.
Supporting audits and inspections
Continuous personal development around quality of education
Monitors attendance of learners and ensures compliance with funding body regulations for learner hours.
Monitors learners for social and safeguarding concerns and escalates appropriately.
