New Year, New Service, New night job? Could help support someone with a learning disability to have a restful and peaceful nights sleep?
We love what we do and are recognised as an Award Winning Charity for our passion and dedication. Experienced or not, join us a Waking Nights Support Worker and you'll see why!
This really is an opportune moment to join the team! Due to growth, we have a brand new service opening for our young man Harry*.
We are seeking a caring and passionate Waking Nights Support Worker to help provide support to Harry for when he is wakeful at night and checking at regular intervals to ensure he is comfortable and getting a good night's sleep ready for the next day.
During the day, Harry enjoys being involved with the local community, the theatre and performing arts and socialising with family and friends with whom he has close relationships with. So because Harry has very busy days full of activities, he mainly requires a presence of an evening to help ensure he is settled and happy and unwinding. This may include also being there as an emotional reassurance throughout the night.
Harry can display behaviours of concern in the form of self harm but we will provide you with all the training and support you'll need to be fully prepared should a situation arise.
This is the perfect time to join and make YOUR mark!

What we need from you
Firstly, you don't need experience to become a Support Worker but it's not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no 2 nights are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring and it's something you'll never forget.
As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we'll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support.
We are an Award winning Charity that has the core belief that everyone has potential, something to offer and a valuable contribution to make to their community.
We use a person centered approach to keep the people we support safe, happy and healthy and to ensure each individual is able to live a life that makes sense to them. Using a Positive Behavior Support strategy ensures we see the person first, not their disability.
