Warehouse Operative – Night Shift

As a Warehouse Operative you will be working within a fast paced warehouse environment, completing a range of daily tasks required to ensure that the stock is available in the right place and the right amount of stock is ready for collection when required.

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately
  • Pick, check, store and pack goods using RF technology to a high standard of accuracy
  • Load and unload trailers safely and in line with company procedures
  • Report any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties
  • Accurate input of data into company computer systems and manual records
  • Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy
  • Achieve the targets (KPIs) and job standards set out by First Line Managers
  • Maintain high standards of site housekeeping and act in line with customer standards
  • Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives on site
  • Contribute towards team objectives and daily targets
Warehouse Operative Requirements:
  • Good communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write basic English
  • Able to follow instructions and work accurately
  • Able to work under pressure to targets and deadlines
  • Basic computer literacy and experience of data inputting
  • Awareness of Health and Safety regulations, including manual handling
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • MHE skills desirable - training available
  • May include handling weights of up to 15-20kg on a regular basis
  • Experience of using JDA would be an advantage

Hours: 40 Hours per week
Shift Pattern: Fixed Shift - night Shift - Sunday to Thursday 22:00 – 06:00
Salary: £24,537.64 per annum
