Restaurant Manager Jobs
Restaurant managers deal with the day-to-day operations of food-service establishments. They're responsible for making sure all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly, from food preparation to customer service.A typical day for a restaurant manager may include:
• Hiring or training new employees, scheduling kitchen and wait staff, and managing payroll
• Taking inventory of food and supplies and ordering food, beverages, equipment, and other supplies as needed
• Inspecting the kitchen and dining area for cleanliness, organization, and adherence to restaurant codes
• Handling customer complaints that cannot be resolved by the wait staff, or mediating disputes between members of the staff.
